[PREMIERE] KELJET - GUEST MIX FOR PERFECT HAVOC

When I think about the Perfect Havoc dudes it's hard not to smile - my homies are some pretty amazing characters, and their little collective is nothing but delicious disco vibes! Perfect Havoc is a label, management agency and club night out of London, and they're throwing their next party that promises to be a rager!  Perfect Havoc Disco returns for a bank holiday shindig on  April 30 at Brixton Jamm featuring My Digital Enemy, Digital Farm Animals, Oliver Nelson,   Tobtok, Televisor, Keljet, Skogsrå and Adam Griffin. To celebrate Keljet has dropped a killer artist mix for Perfect Havoc which we are premiering here! It's jam packed with all the funky disco and indie dance vibes to get your booty shaking! Unfortunately your girl right here is feeling a bit under the weather, but I am trying to power through this day - because there are hundreds of tracks to blog about and many shows to book! Let's kill two birds with one stone right here and talk about Kartell and our upcoming Take 2 Entertainment show with him in LA!  This French house producer dropped a new track today called "Gold" which shows us a edgy side of this disco master, and I am loving these vibes! Karell retains this easy going smooth groove throughout the slightly glitchy beats and light melody, it's pretty great! While summer may be winding down, the music of summer continues! We've recruited fellow tastemakers and SoCal legends GRYN to give us their Top 5 Summer Jams. To us, this remix wholly embodies summer… so it’s the perfect track to kick off our selection. Pomo’s signature funky basslines work too well over Keyone Starr’s powerful vocals. It’s all around such a well-produced, feel-good track.

Cosmo's Midnight - Walk With Me (feat. KUČKA)

This track has been constantly playing whenever we have a minute and decide to trek around LA with friends. The entire thing is one fun and lighthearted groove. Also, this track pairs nicely with a heavy dose of Vitamin D.

Kartell - Attracted

We got our hands on the new Kartell EP just before summer hit, and haven’t been able to stop grooving since. It’s a great track to accompany any summer situation, be it sipping beverages by the pool or getting your boogie on at a rooftop soiree.

Gallant - Weight in Gold (Brasstracks Remix)

This track hits us square in the feels. Every damn time. It felt like everyone and their mothers decided to remix Gallant this summer, but for us, this Brasstracks iteration takes the cake. It’s the perfect transition track between your daytime and nighttime summer escapades.

Thabo Getsome - The Sound (Sacha Robotti's Wobbly Remix)

We’ve been mixing with this Sacha Robotti remix nonstop this summer. This is the track you should throw on once the sun has finally set and you’re ready to spend a balmy night on the town.

JACKLNDN - TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS

As we cruise into this 4th of July holiday weekend, our bud JackLNDN has given us his top 5 summer jams for us to vibe on!  He's put a lot of thought into this as well!  Jack is not one to do anything 1/2 way - from his high energy live sets to his sunny personality to his hilarious disposition -- he's always at 100!  JackLNDN has picked out some sexy tracks, perfect for our summer jams!  I am so excited to have him on my boat party this weekend - this Brit will be celebrating our American independence day with new friends and southern California feels! 

Tyler Touché - Act Of God ft. Jason Gaffner
This disco bouncer is the perfect way to kick off the selection. Tyler Touche, lays down a bunch of classic sounds, infused with his signature cool funk and topped off with killer vocals. It’s hard to resist it.  I particularly love the pluckiness and movement in the baseline, it keeps the track rolling along nicely.

Hayden James - Something About You (Just Kiddin Remix)
I love everything the Just Kiddin guys put out, without exception. I’m always playing there music out, and it always goes off. Been rinsing their JT edit for years now haha. Their latest offering just dropped and is no disappointment. Been craving a version of this track to throw in my sets and now I have the perfect one.

Craig David - Fill Me In (Sterling Silver & Mark Maxwell Bootleg)
This next one is a bit of a weapon, I have been playing it a whole bunch recently. Huge throwback and a little bit of everything, plus a bouncy unexpected drop. This should have a tonne more plays. Always seeing people smile and sing along when I drop it.

Tom Misch - Sunshine
There hasn’t been a Tom Misch track in a while that I haven’t loved. This new track is so chilled, and about as summery as they come. Called ‘Sunshine’ it features his classic laid back vocals with nice groovy guitar picks, and his signature juicy chord choices.

Kartell - Mood
Kartell is one my all time favourite producers. The variety of what he produces is amazing and consistently vibey. He is also responsible for throwing together some of my favourite mix tapes too.This track is taken from his new EP, which includes the insanely bouncy ‘Attracted’ amongst other bangers. I chose this one instead because its super chilled and beautiful. The perfect late afternoon early evening track for the summer.

KARTELL - ALL I HAVE FT. J-RICAN

So many vibes happening on this Monday - I'm loving this chill groove trend of new jams to start off this week in the right way!  Another French house producer part of the Roche family who we are bananas over is Kartell, and his new release today is so sexy smooth .... I can't even!!  "All I Have ft. J-Rican" is everything you want and need for your summertime chill jams!!
