I’m not sure if we have posted a track by a Russian producer … I could be wrong about that, but also could not be happier in doing so now! I’ve always wanted to visit Russia, and actually applied for a travel visa when I lived in Eastern Europe (Prague) back in 2005 - and was DENIED due to … actually that’s another story so ….. Hey now Biicla! This young producer has remixed “Hurting on Purpose ft. K.Flay” by our boy Whethan. Super bouncy, super fun, and K.Flay’s vocals are always so silky and scrumptious you can’t not love this remix. Biicla is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter producing some really great dance tracks - and even though he’s just getting started, his blend of pop-rock, hip-hop and house sound will leave you wanting more. We've seen a smattering of "FML" remixes, but none quite like Lincoln's deeper rendition. The track flutters from the start with a quirky synth line placed behind bongos and verse one. Percussion sweeps in taking us to the first dance chorus with a womping deep bass line of floor rattling goodness. By the final chorus we know what we're getting ourselves into, but Lincoln keeps us on our toes with a haunting drone and synth piano hits through the end.

While we would absolutely love to support all of the amazing remixes, Erin and I have decided to just bring you two from the star studded package.
We started off earlier with White Cliff's sultry piano take on the original and now it's my pleasure to support Win & Woo's first release of 2016. Chicago must have something in the water, because killer acts are popping up right and left notably being these two homies Louis The Child and Win & Woo. Their version starts rather minimally with hats, claps, piano and vocals, but quickly picks it up giving us a thumping deep house, guitar laden dance chorus that's soo smooth.
