Born Mehdi Benjelloun, France's live electronic producer and DJ, better known as Petit Biscuit, continues to disrupt the norms of the EDM world. At only 19 years old, Petit Biscuit is performing at globally recognized music festivals, and collaborating with Grammy Award winning musicians. After the monumental success of his 2016 debut album, "Petit Biscuit," his beautiful buzz landed in the hands of Russian born producer, Zedd. Three months ago, Zedd released his single "Stay." And three days ago, Zedd released PB's flip of "Stay" on his Soundcloud. PB's remix is is chopped with a fine, delicate syncopation; it is warm, bubbly and vibrant. As I listen to the collaboration between a radio sensation and a French teenager, I hear the sounds of confetti, and the reverb of celebration. It is an instrumental interpretation of fireworks. It will fill each of your senses with silk and sentiment. PB's integrated piano riffs challenge the standard of electronic music by filling the void of Ableton software with live instruments. This remix is fluid, as it flows like liquid diamonds through my veins. As I stream this track for the 6th time in a row, editing my run on sentences, I am overwhelmed with an artistic vision that can only be inspired by a remix as striking as this one. Find your own inspiration with the litany of "Stay" remixes, featuring Petit Biscuit and other talented producers on Zedd's Spotify.

ZEDD - STAY (WITH ALESSIA CARA)
MusicCommentI’ll be honest, when I first heard this massive collab between two very much established artists I wasn’t immediately sold on it. The Chainsmokers have hooked the general public on simple chill future bass pop and it seems that a lot of other artists are trying to get in on this trend. Part of me wants to shame Zedd for following in this direction. I’ve been a fan of his since before “Clarity” and my first thought was that this was a “safe” song. But after coming back to it after a few listens, the catchy songwriting began to grow on me, and I like what he did keeping the production fairly minimal in parts. He’s still a really cool guy in my book, especially for throwing this upcoming fundraising concert for the ACLU at the STAPLES Center on April 3rd with quite the lineup of other socially conscious mainstream artists.
[NEW SHOW] WELCOME: A FUNDRAISING CONCERT FOR THE ACLU
Concert, Event, Live Set, MusicCommentMy best friend and I are bleeding heart liberals, but from time to time we can get into heated conversations over politics, especially now with President Trump in office. One night not too long ago she called me out after I made a statement about how I believed many of the protests do not change anything, and she asked me what I was actually gonna do if not protest. So, I normally don't post about shows that are not mine, or about politics on Beautiful Buzzz - but this is really something special. I am shocked to learn how many racist, homophobic, non-tolerant, stupid American's there are left out there .... that we were actually capable of electing someone like Trump as our President, and this bigoted womanizer with no political background has the power to put forth in motion the immigration ban last week. What is happening to us? I thank my parents every day, for moving us out of Missouri in the 80's to California, where I was able to grow up learning love and tolerance for all. I'm proud to live in this west coast bubble, because things like this happen with like minded musicians who live here - the arts will always be for the people and support the people. So, this is me doing my part ... spreading the word about this fundraiser for the ACLU that ZEDD (an immigrant) put together, asking some of his friends to join him. No ego's here kids - we all just want to help!
