LIDO - SOLSBURY HILL (PETER GABRIEL COVER)

Well, Lido is constantly surprising me ... and after a very stressful day I came home to this! Peter Gabriel is one of my most favorite musicians ever, and Lido's cover of his song "Solsbury Hill" has put me at ease. Lido is just so fucking good! His glitchy future feels version is both innovative and creative filled with light melodies and soulful vibes. I can't get enough!

Happy Friday! Sorry friends, I am way behind with life it seems! Sometimes I think I can do it all, then I remember I'm just a girl with a blog and a full time day job where I play DJ Monopoly buying for parties, clubs and festivals all day .... rough! This week we announced our full line-up for our SXSW party Get Buzzzed, and this legend Alexander Lewis will be dropping some sick jams ... like this new remix of "Murder" buy Lido. He teamed up with the homie Y2K to drop some serious bass vibes filled with soulful future flavor - it's so fuckin' good! LIDO - DYE (MOSSY. REMIX)

One of the great debates in the music blogging world (at least in my world) this past Friday was which Lido remix do we pick to feature? I mean, there are so many and they are all so good ... just one of the many struggles a girl with a blog goes through. Mossy. won me over after listening, his smooth clean sound left me feeling some kind of way. Last month we premiered this Los Angeles producer's first release, so makes since we back it up with now featuring his delicious remix of "Dye" and I'm telling you - it's brilliant. Lucky for us, we get to watch this young producer come alive, I'll definitely be with him every step of the way.     

MELVV - WHAT IF EVERYTHING'S NOT EVERYTHING

Well - what can I say here that we all don't already know? Lido is crushing all things, and since he dropped his album Everything last week we've been listening to nothing else! So when yung Melvv passed me this track, I knew we were all in for something special! This Milwaukee producer spent 6 days locked in his room putting together "What If Everything's Not Everything" -- a 10 minute remix that includes all 11 songs from Lido's new album. Wow! All you can really do now is just listen! Bananas good! 

BRASSTRACKS - TELLING THE TRUTH FT. LIDO & FATHERDUDE

Woah! This is everything! I want to start off by saying that FatherDude has 100% moved to the top of my most favorite thing in 2016 list. If you don't know about all that, it's time! But I mean, this combination in general is kinda bananas! Brasstracks + Lido + FatherDude .... really? Doe's anyone else get serious goosebumps of excitement just from seeing this? Wait till you hear it!  "Telling The Truth" is a funky soulful electro-pop dance gem which I'll be playing non-stop all week long! All the feels here y'all - listen and love!

LIDO - CRAZY

When Lido dropped the video for this track yesterday, my FB feed was full of all my industry homies sharing the link and saying things like "we're all inferior" or "we're not worthy" and I think I am gonna have to agree with the masses on this one. With sexy future beats filled with R&B vibes and big bass tribal like beats - this is hands down one of the best tracks of the year thus far! Lido has set the bar high y'all - I'm swooning! 

BUZZZMIX VOL. 20 - MELVV

The next Buzzzmix has arrived, and this one is pretty special!  When me met Melvv last year, he was talking about going to his senior prom, graduating high-school, and starting to make waves with his original tracks and remixes on the interweb.  When we did a very last minute premiere of his incredible remix of "Midnight Moon" by Oh Wonder (which is included in this Buzzzmix) - I knew Melvv was something special -- so I started telling everyone I knew about this teenage bedroom producer who I believed was going to do great things!  Almost a year later and over one million plays on that remix alone - Melvv is moving into the next phase of greatness - fancy management, fancy agent, and playing dates with the likes of Louis The Child, Autograf, Trippy Turtle, Jai Wolf plus some big things we can't talk about just yet!  WOW!  We have that ultimate feels kind of  bond with Melvv now, and his place in the BB fam will always be held with highest regard .... we love him V much!  You can grab a free download of Buzzzmix Vol. 20 HERE!
