Well these are two names that are frequent arrivals on our pages, and for good reason. The Knocks have continued to just put out amazing tunes over the years including this rad original "Trouble" from the Testify EP featuring up and comer Absofacto who we recently heard from with his original "Light Outside". Well now we've got another up-and-comer LIONE on remix duties with a bright and sparkly rendition that further energizes the original. LIONE has been making waves over the last year or so with some quality breakout remixes, and he can add this one to the list. So dive in and enjoy! Original Mix, MusicCommentLIONE has risen from relative obscurity to prominence so quickly that Martin Garrix's new label STMPD RCRDS has taken notice and chosen him to be their first solo act signee. It's easy to see why with amazing tunes like his "Where Are U Now" and "Bodyache" remixes that have drawn all sorts of comparisons to Porter Robinson (not too shabby). It's been a minute since a new release, but I'm super excited to share his latest and first original "Leave This Place". What's not to like about this tune? Luscious synths, bright and endearing melodies, infectious arps and beautiful vocals, the record has an endearing quality to it that invokes a smile at every snare. With a live show, a guest mix on Garrix's Beats 1 radio show and his first original now under his belt, it's clear we have a some major movement here. PURITY RING - BODYACHE (LIONE REMIX)
Music, RemixCommentLA based LIONE has delivered to us his second ever release and it's dreamy...no literally take a listen, this track makes me feel like I'm floating. Taking on Purity Ring's "Bodyache," LIONE drifts us along with light melodic sounds and arpeggios around the vocals until we get brought up into the dance break. The break quickly lifts us up into a future bass waterfall of melodic swirls and tones that's absolutely killer! Ok I'm a blogger so I get to do silly things like create new genres for music and I'm going to call this future dream bass ha ha. If Porter Robinson and Prince Fox had a baby we'd get LIONE. The dude is quickly gathering a lot of attention, and if you haven't been following, well now's the time to jump on board. I have a feeling we've got a lot more gold still to hear.

It's our pleasure to introduce to you LIONE. This is not the first Ember Island cover remix that has graced our pages, but when a couple of great accapellas get put up on SoundCloud like Ember Island has done, all the producers start lickin' their chops (AWESOME SINGERS TAKE NOTE). This is great exposure for the covering artist and bravo to LIONE for whipping up this fantastic remix. This is music industry collaboration at its finest my friends, and ooooohhhh it's fantastic.
