OTR - ALREADY GONE (FEAT. KELSIE RIMMER)

Today I’m stoked to introduce you to a new rising talent who goes by the name of OTR. He’s a Cincinnati-based producer who first came onto the scene earlier this year with an epic chill remix of one of my favorite tracks from last year, “Meet Me” by Mickey Valen featuring Noé, which came from Trap Nation’s Lowly Palace imprint. 

He’s wasted no time, now delivering his debut original single “Already Gone” which is MASSIVE and features the gorgeous vocals of The Voice Australia contestant Kelsie Rimmer. The track starts with a gently building drums, piano and synths and Rimmer’s hauntingly sincere lyrics before exploding with a powerful drop rife with dense chords and a hooky-as-hell synth line. The dynamic interplay between the mellow moments of the song and the high-energy drops makes it really stand out as a strong release that’s sure to put OTR on everyone’s map as a producer to watch.

SWINDAIL - C'EST LA VIE (FEAT. INNANET JAMES)

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared any new music on here. Basically my day job has started consuming my life and I have less time for doing the things I love that generate no income for me, like sharing dope tunes! But I just couldn’t pass up this track. From the first listen to Australian wünderkind producer Swindail’s new jam “C’est la Vie” I was immediately hooked by the bumping hip hop heater. Swindy has some of the best sound design in the business when it comes to percussion, and here he crafts the perfect vibe over which Innanet James spits some seriously fire verses. It’s just a banger that instantly makes you want to turn up and enjoy some fine-quality substances, if they’re legal in your state and you’re of legal age of course.

UKIYO - CALLING (FEAT. YOUR GIRL PHO)

I swear they must offer electronic music production as a course in Australian high schools or something because the amount of talented producers making tunes in the land down under these days is seriously nuts. 20-year-old Timothy Arnott, who goes by the name Ukiyo (which makes me think of manga and Blue Eyes White Dragons - anybody?) is certainly one in the upper echelon of this group of youngsters from the South Pacific. His latest track “Calling” is poised to be a breakout single for the artist. Rich layers of wavering synths, minimalistic percussion, and delicately yearning, almost R&B-inspired vocals from Young Girl Pho (which is also an awesome name might I add) come together to create some seriously vibey vibes. Ukiyo is calling y’all; don’t let this one go to voicemail.

ELECTRIC MANTIS - INFATUATION

Electric Mantis. Holy shit. Whenever anyone asks me where I think electronic music is going next I always just say ElectricMantis. The future sound of Australian artists like Flume and Wave Racer, the eccentric chops of Cashmere Cat and enough 808’s to make an sub woofer wobble. Eargasmic perfection.

GORGON CITY - GO ALL NIGHT FT. JENNIFER HUDSON (NICKY NIGHT TIME REMIX)

Hey now!  Nicky Night Time dropped this amazing track earlier this week, and I'm like ... woah so good!!  Not that Nicky Night Time could be anything but amazing, but he seems to be producing one banger after another!  This one hits a bit harder in the club, but that just means you can shake your ass harder!!  His version of "Go All Night ft. Jennifer Hudson" by Gorgon City is BANANAS!  Nicky Night Time is definitely winning -- now if we can just get him back in the states so we can run wild in the night like last year, that would be great!!  Track officially out FEB 27 via Neon Records! 

HERMITUDE - THROUGH THE ROOF FT. YOUNG TAPZ

I feel like Hermitude is everyone's most quietly kept secret - because these guys should be fucking HUGE!  Personally, they blow my mind on a daily basis -- I can't get enough of their edgy sound.  I have just started to become a fan of the future sound, and Hermitude are crushing everything!!  There is no denying the energy and sexiness oozing from this track "Through The Roof Ft. Young Tapz" - so good I can't stand it sometimes!!  If you were lucky enough to catch them on tour with Rufus last year, I envy you!!  I think I may see a Beautiful Buzzz show with them in the future however - stay tuned for details!!  Until then you can swoop this track on iTunes HERE!

FALQO - FEEL YOUR LOVE

There must be something in the water in Australia that just makes people amazing at disco music. Because of this, I jump at the chance of getting any new disco goodness from Australia. Today that goodness is coming from none other than Falqo. His groovy new single "Feel Your Love" oozes the sunshine of the magical disco land Australia. LORDE - TENNIS COURT (FLUME REMIX)

There is not much I can say about this - I mean Flume remixing Lorde??  I mean.... that's it!  My only thought here besides BANANAS! would be I'm very happy he chose "Tennis Court" - I really like that song!
