DJ SNAKE - TALK FEAT. GEORGE MAPLE (ELLUSIVE & TRINIX REMIX)

Mystery producer(s)?? Ellusive team up with French producers TRINIX, and the oh so familiar voice of George Maple to reboot the iconic "Talk". With George Maple's emotional lyrics weaving over a slow, ambling bassline, Ellusive & TRINIX breathe new life into an already amazing track. GEORGE MAPLE - TALK (DJ SNAKE REMAKE)

The next single is out from French producer and dance music legend DJ Snake, and it's yummy! A few years back I was lucky enough to do some hangs with the ever so brilliant George Maple at CMJ - she was in New York showcasing her band for the first time in the US, and my bestie Touch Sensitive was playing them keys! "Talk Talk" was my jam that fall, I was loving everything about George Maple - still do! DJ Snake has taken her sultry vocals and re-created "Talk" as an electro house tropical infuzed dance floor gem that we are loving! This is the second single released from his debut album coming out later this year! Mad props!   

TKAY MAIDZA - GHOST

We've got a BB newcomer today for you. Adelaide, Australia represent! Tkay Maidza's new single "Ghost" is flashy, edgy, bass filled and straight up catchy. Although given the heavy hitters behind the production of this track, I'm not surprised. It starts with George Maple, who's resume includes working with Flume, Goldroom and What So Not, who also happens to have a production credit for this one and oh why not throw in Baauer for good measure. The result is an eclectic, melodic and distorted garage hip hop tune with layers of atmospheric sounds. I think we're going to see a lot more of Tkay in the future.    

GOLDROOM - EMBRACE (FT. GEORGE MAPLE)

Alright, I am gonna admit - this one is tough for me! Goldroom pretty much inspired me to start Beautiful Buzzz - he is the driving force behind everything I've done for the past 4-5 years and helped me reach some pretty cool lifetime goals - and we're still moving forward, watching each other grow and supporting each other along the way! I am sure he would agree with me when I say Mereki was a huge part of the Goldroom success - and even tho she has moved on to work on her solo career she is still part of the soul that is and will always will be Goldroom. This version of "Embrace" featuring George Maple has thrown me for a loop just a bit - not that it's not amazing because she is amazing and the song is undeniably awesome, I'm just used to Mereki! There is something so familiar about her voice, it's what we fell in love with!

However, after listening to the George Maple version, I get it!  "Embrace" was actually written with her and for her, so it's like this track has finally been given the chance to reach it's full potential. This is how Goldroom envisioned "Embrace" to be .... and it's just as amazing as ever.  George Maple's sultry vocals have made this more than just a poolside summertime dance hit, she's brought maturity and deeper feeling, she's brought out the sadness and emotion within the words  - she's made it a love song!!   The power of music is like nothing else, and after multiple listens over the past 24 hours - I am more in love with this song than I ever have ever been. I'm sure Mr. Goldroom is quietly giggling over my words right now, and I am pretty sure this is the most I have ever had to say about anything on this blog -- but well done sir, and thank you, and love you most!

THE BUZZZ BOX - APRIL 6

It seems almost impossible to catch up after March madness - we seem to be a day behind on everything!!  If your week is starting out slow like ours - no worries - because now this weeks Buzzz Box is live and we can all have a dance party!! Have fun out there kids!!  Listen and love!

Holy Moly!!  This past week has been so crazy - the Beautiful Buzzz team is going crazy with SXSW prep!!  That being said - there was so much amazing music released last week that we could not ignore the Buzzz Box, and the jams are super fresh!  Davis Ayer photography also totally rocks our world!!  Happy Monday!

Good morning world!  How about we get sexy this morning??  George Maple made a huge splash this past year with her single "Talk Talk" and I was lucky enough to do some hangs with her at CMJ w/ Touch Sensitive!!  I mean ... she has Touch Sensitive in her band ... how rad is that?? Fellow Aussie and brilliant producer Ta-ku has us swooning with this hot and steamy remix of "Talk Talk" - kinda crushing the remix game!!  Ta-ku can do no wrong, and yes of course this is all brought to you by Future Classic!  

THE BUZZZ BOX - FEBRUARY 16

I know - I'm a day late with this weeks Buzzz Box, but sometimes a girl needs an extra day.  I've been running around LA all weekend, and it's been beautiful!!  And very hot!!  I am forgetting how hot SoCal actually is!!  The box is full of pure fire this week - and Parker Fitzgerald photography is beautiful!  Enjoy kids!
